John Paul Ngeso Aketch excels in educational administration, youth advocacy, and resource mobilization, with expertise in coordinating and managing educational programs, fundraising, and shaping education standards, supported by extensive experience across multiple countries and sectors.

John Paul Ngeso Aketch is a dedicated educator par excellence, an administrator, and youth advocate, He serves as a founding member of the Kenya Youth Support Association (KEYSA). He holds a Master’s in Educational Administration and Planning from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) and is currently pursuing PhD studies in the same field at CUEA. His academic journey includes a Bachelor of Education in English and Christian Religious Education from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, Tangaza University College. He also holds an English Certificate for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) from City Guilds.

John Paul’s professional experience spans across various sectors, starting as a Volunteer Coordinator Officer (VCO) at the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Development in Bungoma, Kenya, Nimule in South Sudan, Karonga in Malawi and Matero Boys in Zambia. He has also done a considerable work with the youth in Likasi and Lumbumbashi in DRC. In this role, he worked with vulnerable groups, particularly youth and children, helping to shape his commitment to community service.

His dedication to education led him to Tangaza University College, where he took on roles as an Admissions Coordinator, administrator and Lecturer in the School of Education, contributing to the academic and professional development of many students.

Currently, John Paul plays a vital role in shaping Kenya’s education standards and policies as an educator par excellence. His administrative acumen and passion for education has made him a key figure in promoting quality education in Kenya.

In addition to his formal roles, John Paul is a founding member of KEYSA and a proactive resource mobilizer for the organisation, where his skills in fundraising and project management in supporting the youth empowerment initiatives are highly felt. His work at KEYSA focuses on anticipating and organizing for young people opportunities for growth and leadership, using education as well as community engagement as key tools for unlocking their own potential. John Paul’s achievements reflect a deep commitment to education, community service, and youth empowerment. His leadership and expertise continue to make a positive impact at KEYSA and on both the education sector and the communities he serves.
