Kenya Youth Suppport Association is a youth empowered movement that aims at nurturing the youths accross the nation. Our agenda is to coach the youths to be self dependent, and utilise their energy to bring change to the country. KEYSA believes youth have untapped potential, and in most cases it all goes in vein. Bringing them together ensures they stay in line to realize their dreams, and motivate others along the way.
Young people should be at the forefront of global change and innovation. Empowered, they can be key agents for development and peace.

Our History
Background.
The Kenya Youth Support Association (KEYSA), founded in 2020, was established to address the urgent need for youth empowerment and leadership in Kenya. The organization is driven by the belief that youth are the primary drivers of any community or nation’s development. KEYSA’s mission is “To Cultivate and Empower Young People, Fostering Sustainable and Self-reliant Communities Through a Focus on Leadership, Mentorship, and Community Engagement”.
Central to KEYSA’s work are its core values, which include Empowerment and Leadership, Partnerships, Mentorship and Guidance, Inclusivity and Equal Opportunities, and Community Engagement. These values guide the organization’s efforts to provide opportunities for youth to develop leadership skills, collaborate with like-minded organizations, connect with mentors, and participate in community development initiatives. Inclusivity is at the heart of KEYSA’s mission, ensuring that all youth, regardless of background, have equal access to its programs.
KEYSA’s diverse areas of focus include TVET Education, where the organization sponsors students by covering their school necessities, ensuring they have the educational foundation needed to succeed. The organization also nurtures Sports and Talents, providing a platform for young artists, comedians, and other creatives to develop their skills. In Technology, KEYSA offers training in various tech-related courses, followed by direct employment opportunities, empowering youth to thrive in the digital economy.
The organization also emphasizes Financial Literacy, teaching youth the basics of financial management to promote self-reliance. Through various programs, KEYSA equips young people with the knowledge to manage their finances effectively, ensuring they are prepared for financial independence. Additionally, Community Development is a key focus, with the organization encouraging youth to give back to their communities through campaigns and volunteer activities.
Overall, KEYSA’s comprehensive approach to youth development reflects its commitment to creating positive change. By focusing on the 4 thematic areas, the organization has become a vital force in empowering youth and fostering sustainable communities.
