Biography: Edmond Ongoma Juma

Edmond Ongoma Juma is a dedicated development professional with a strong academic background and extensive experience in social work and project management. He holds a Diploma in Development Studies and Social Work from Marist International University College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa, and a Master’s Degree in Project Planning and Management from the same institution.

With over a decade of experience, Edmond has made significant contributions to the welfare of vulnerable communities, particularly through his role as the Director of the James Ryken Center for Hope in Bungoma. In this position, he has worked tirelessly to support and rehabilitate street children, offering them hope and a chance for a better future.

Edmond’s commitment to social change extends beyond his work with street children. He has also served as a Project Coordinator with Evolutionary Community Oriented Practitioners, where he played a key role in implementing community-driven initiatives. Additionally, his work with Talithakum International Kenya as a Project Officer highlights his dedication to addressing human trafficking, a critical issue affecting many communities.

As a founding member of the Kenya Youth Support Association, Edmond continues to make a positive impact as the Program Director, where he is responsible for guiding the organization’s efforts to empower and support young people across Kenya. His passion for development and his unwavering commitment to social justice make him a respected and influential figure in his field.
